מומחה לכירורגיה פלסטית ואסתטית מטעם המועצה המדעית של ההסתדרות הרפואית בישראל ומשרד הבריאות.
לאחר סיום בחינות המעבר בהצטיינות בכירורגיה פלסטית וסיום ההתמחות, ד"ר גל אור השתלם וניתח עם מיטב המומחים בארץ למשך מספר שנים, כיום מתמחה בניתוחי חזה, פנים וניתוחים לעיצוב הגוף. ניצב בקדמת הטכנולוגיה עם מאות ניתוחים וטיפולים שונים ומגוונים.
ד"ר גל אור הינו חבר פעיל באיגוד הישראלי לכירורגיה פלסטית , וכן חבר בעמותה הישראלית למנתחים פלסטים ואסתטיים.
מנתח בבתי החולים- בית חולים רמת אביב , מרכז רפואי רוזן בעפולה.
השכלה ורזומה של ד"ר גל אור ניר
סיים לימודי רפואה בהונגריה בהצטיינות. עם חזרתו לארץ עשה שנת סטאז' בבית החולים מאיר.
בין השנים 2006 -2009 עבד כרופא ברפואה דחופה בבית החולים יוספטל באילת, שם רכש ידע תיאורטי ומעשי בכל האסכולות הרפואיות השונות . כולל : רפואה דחופה, כירורגיה כללית, פנימית, ילדים, אא"ג, אורטופדיה, אופטלמולוגיה וכיוצא בזה.
במהלך השנים הללו יזם ואירגן את כל נושא האקדמיה שכללו הרצאות שבועיות לצוות הרפואי כולל רופאים ואחיות בכל נושאי המחלקות והאסכולות השונות.
את התמחותו הרשמית בכירורגיה פלסטית החל בבית החולים קפלן ברחובות, בשנים בהן עבד שם, התמקד בשחזורי שד ובית החזה בהמשך המשיך את התמחותו בבית חולים כרמל שם התמקד בטיפול בצלקות, בטיפול במומים מולדים כולל שיחזור חיוך, תיקון ושחזור אוזניים, מתיחות פנים, בעיות מולדות ונרכשות של עפעפיים עליונים ותחתונים ותיקונים אסתטיים ושחזוריים באזורי הראש והצוואר. במהלך התקופה הזו הדריך סטודנטים לרפואה וסיים את בחינות שלב א בכירורגיה כללית ובפלסטיקה בהצטיינות. לאחר כ- 5 שנים עבר לבית החולים מאיר, שם התמקד בניתוחי אף, ניתוחים אסתטיים של השדיים והגוף ולמד גישות נוספות למגוון רחב של ניתוחים בתחום, כמו כן התנדב והרצה לאגודה למלחמה בסרטן.
לאחר סיום ההתמחות בבית החולים מאיר וסיום כל הבחינות בהצטיינות , הצטרף כמנתח פלסטי מומחה לקהילת הפלסטיקאים המומחים בארץ.
